The Eagle Mountain Lake Parade of Lights has been a holiday tradition for over 35 years!
The 2020 parade was the largest ever, and we expect 2021 to be bigger & even more creative!
This is a fun family and community event to celebrate the holidays and to celebrate Eagle Mountain Lake. Save Eagle Mountain Lake (SEML) has been a proud sponsor and benefactor for the parade for well over a decade. One of the key objectives of SEML is to engage the community in partnerships that foster the quality of Eagle Mountain Lake, with the overarching goal of saving and protecting our lake for future generations.
ROUTE: The parade of boats decorated with holiday lights, along with enthusiastic and well adorned crew members will depart West Bay Marina at sundown, travel just North of Lakeview Marina, turn south toward Pelican Island, and continue toward the Azle side of the lake until reaching Augie's. The route will then continue around the bend to Twin Points Park, turn to the north past the Fort Worth Boat Club, then continue toward Lake Country Estates and then to Harbor One Marina. The Awards Ceremony will be held at The Lakehouse. A map depicting the route is available on our website at SEML.org.
NEW: This years' parade includes a benefit for Toys-for-Tots! There will be donation boxes at each of the marinas and restaurants around the lake, and at Twin Points Park. Boaters and observers are encouraged to donate new unwrapped toys to help others celebrate the Christmas season. Thanks in advance for your support!
NOW: is the time to register your boat (big or small we welcome them all!), get your crew together, and begin to plan your decorations. There are prizes (aka bragging rights) for boats in each of the following categories: 26' and under, 27' and up, and sailboats. There are also prizes for the fan-favorite and the best crew. Awards will be announced upon the conclusion of the parade at the Lakehouse.
VIEWING: The lake is open to boaters however we request that you maintain a safe distance from the parade route. Twin Points Park is open and is free of charge (Thanks to TRWD!) and the marinas and restaurants noted above should also be good locations.
